Our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever hears the Adhan and says afterwards;
Allahumme Rabbe hezihi’d-da’veti’t-tâmme. Vesselatil kâimeti âti Muhammedenil vesilete vel fazîlete vebashu makâmen Mahmudenillezi waadteh.” My intercession becomes obligatory for him on the Day of Resurrection.” (Bukhari, Adhan, 8)
