The Three Months, according to the Islamic lunar calendar, are the months of Recep, Shaban, and Ramadan. The blessed Three Months are times when waves of mercy surge, spiritual tranquility and peace descend upon hearts, and divine mercy overflows. As these months approach, the hearts of believers are filled with a spiritual atmosphere, and their souls rejoice. Within these blessed months there are nights so full of blessings and abundance that the mercy and grace of Allah rain down upon the believers like rain.
THREE MONTHS PRAYER
When the Three Months arrived, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would recite this prayer:

THE IMPORTANCE AND EXCELLENCE OF THE THREE MONTHS
Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in another hadith stated: “Recep is Allah’s month, Shaban is my month, and Ramadan is the month of my Ummah.” (Kenzu’l-Ummal, XII/310), thus pointing to the spiritual bounty of these months.
