“Alhamdulillah kesiran dayyiban…” Supplication: When and How to Recite It?

According to a narration from Abu Umama –may Allah be pleased with him– the Messenger of Allah –sallallahu alayhi wa sallam– recited the following supplication after eating:
Arabic Recitation of the Meal Supplication:
“Alhamdulillah kesiran dayyiben mubarakatan fihi ghairamukaffifin walā muwaddain walā mustaghni’an anhu Rabbana.”
Turkish Meaning of the Meal Supplication: “O our Lord! We praise You with abundant, pure praise, free from hypocrisy, blessed and accepted. A praise that is approved in Your divine presence, on the degree of perfect sincerity, which we will never be satisfied with in every form, always continuing to do it, and not benefiting from it at all. You are our Lord; that is, you nourish us and keep us alive with your blessings.” (Bukhari, Et’ime, 54)
This supplication is an important way of expressing the feeling of gratitude for the blessing of food.
