What is the “Allahümme ente rabbi…” Dua for?
Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The most superior form of seeking forgiveness is when a servant makes this supplication:
Meaning of the Allahümme Ente Rabbi Dua
«O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no deity worthy of worship except You. You created me. I am Your servant. In the promise and covenant that I gave to You in eternity, I still strive to fulfill it as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of the sins I have committed. I gratefully acknowledge the blessings You have bestowed upon me in Your majestic presence, and I confess my sins. Forgive me, for surely there is none who can forgive sins except You.» (Bukhari, Adab, 2, 16; Abu Dawud, Adab, 100-101)
