A Supplication Mentioned in Hadith and Recommended for Recitation: Allahümme Eslihli Dini
Our Prophet -peace and blessings be upon him-, throughout his life, turned to Allah, sought His help, and gave us guidance. One such supplication is the “Allahümme Eslihli Dini…” prayer. This prayer is an important plea for protection from errors related to our religion, achieving success in worldly affairs, and preparing for the Hereafter.
Meaning of the Allahümme Eslihli Dini Prayer
Our Prophet -peace and blessings be upon him- made the following supplication:
“O Allah! Protect me from error in regard to my religion, which is the foremost of all my affairs; make my worldly affairs go well; help me gain that Hereafter to which I shall return; grant me the ability to do more good throughout my life; and bestow upon me a death by which I may be saved from every evil!” (Muslim, Zikir 71)
