What is the Allahümme İnni Euzü Bike Prayer for?
This important prayer recited by our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is read to protect us in every area of our lives. Here’s the Arabic recitation, meaning, and virtues of the “Allahümme inni euzü bike minel keseli vel harami…” prayer:
Meaning of the Prayer
Meaning: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, from old age that leads to senility, from the decline of old age, from being in places of sin, from debt, from the tribulation of the grave, from the punishment of the grave, from the tribulation of Hell, from the punishment of Hell, and from the tribulation of wealth. I also seek refuge in You from poverty. And I seek refuge in You from the tribulation of the Anti-Christ (al-Masih ad-Dajjal). O Allah, wash away my sins with rain and hail. Just as You cleanse a white garment of dirt, cleanse my heart of sins. Remove me from my sins as You remove the distance between the east and the west.” (Bukhari, Du’a, 39)
