Our Prophet, the Pride of Creation -peace and blessings be upon him-, taught us this important supplication. This prayer signifies seeking refuge in Allah and asking for His help.

Arabic Recitation

“Allâhümme innî eûzü bike mine’l-aczi ve’l-keseli ve’l bühli ve’l heram. Wa azabi’l kabri. Allahümme ati nefis tekva ha. Wa zekkiha ente hayrü men zekkeha. Ente veliyyüüha wa mevla ha.”

Meaning

“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from weakness, laziness, stinginess, and the hardships of old age. And I ask for protection from the torment of the grave. O Allah! Grant my soul piety and purify it; You are the best to purify it. You are its guardian and its Master.” (Muslim, Zikir 73)
