Assemblies Beloved by the Angels
Abdullah bin Rawah -may Allah be pleased with him-, when encountering a companion among the esteemed Sahabah, would say:
Assemblies Praised by the Angels
“–Come (my brother!) Let us sit for a while and renew our faith in our Lord (and remember Him).”
A Sahabi who did not fully understand the meaning of this, related the matter to the Prophet ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ responded:
“–May Allah have mercy on Abdullah bin Rawah. He loved assemblies where the angels praise (remembrance).” (Ahmed III, 265)
