The Dua Recommended in Hadith for a Righteous Life and Auspicious Death
Our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this important supplication:
“O Allah! I ask You for a righteous life, a pure death, and [the ability] to return to You without shame.” (Ibn Abi Shaybah, Dua, 1, No: 29134)
This dua is an important supplication that should be made to beautify our lives and attain salvation in the Hereafter. A righteous life is possible by acting according to Islamic morality, earning a halal livelihood, and seeking Allah’s pleasure. A good death is dying with faith, repentance, and piety.
