Hizb al-Nasr Supplication Turkish Meaning
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, for the sake of Your victory, for the sake of the swiftness of Your help, for the sake of the jealousy and anger You show because of the committing of what You have forbidden, for the sake of Your protection of those who seek refuge with Your verses (āyāt), we ask You, O Allah, O Karīb (the Near One), O Hearer, O Answerer of supplications (duʿā), O Swift in reckoning, O Compeller (al-Jabbār), O Supreme (al-Mutakabbir), O Subduer (al-Qahhār), and O You whose seizing is severe.
O You whom the subjugation of the rebellious cannot render powerless, O You for whom destroying the obstinate among kings, Chosroes, and wicked enemies is not difficult; turn the plot of the one who plots against me back upon himself, turn the trickery of the one who deceives me back upon himself, make the one who digs a pit for me fall into that pit, O my Master, ensnare in his own net the one who sets a net for me, make him the prey and captive of his own trap!
O Allah, for the sake of Kāf-hā-yā-ʿayn-ṣād, help us against the fear of the enemy. Destroy them, sacrifice them for Your beloved servants, afflict them with calamities today and tomorrow, in a short time.
O Allah, turn their armies into dust and smoke. O Allah, scatter their groups. O Allah, reduce their numbers. O Allah, blunt their sharpness. O Allah, rain calamities upon them. O Allah, send Your punishment upon them, bind their hands, seize their hearts, and do not let them achieve their aims. O Allah, as You shattered Your enemies by helping Your prophets (anbiyāʾ), messengers (rusul), and friends (awliyāʾ), shatter them as well. O Allah, as You took vengeance for Your beloved servants against their enemies, take vengeance for us as well. O Allah, do not give the enemy power over us, do not let them be set upon us because of our sins. (Seven times: Hā-mīm) The matter has become heated and help has arrived; now they will not find help against us. Hā-mīm ʿAyn-sīn-kāf is our protection from what we fear. O Allah, protect us from the evil of being made heedless, do not make us the place of calamities! O Allah, bestow and fulfill our wishes and hopes. Yā Hū, yā Hū, yā Hū! O You whom we seek by Your bounty, we ask You to accept our supplications (duʿā) swiftly. We ask swiftly. O Allah, swiftly.
O Divine, answer us! O You who answered our master Nūḥ (Noah, peace be upon him), O You who removed the afflictions from our master Ayyūb (Job, peace be upon him), O You who answered the supplication of our master Zakariyyā (Zechariah, peace be upon him), O You who accepted the glorification of our master Yūnus ibn Mattā (Jonah, peace be upon him), for the sake of the secrets of these accepted supplications, we ask You to accept the supplications we make and grant us what we request. (Three times: “There is no deity except You. Glory be to You! Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” (al-Anbiyāʾ, 87) Fulfill for us the promise You made to Your believing servants who said this.) Allah is the Greatest, the sword of Allah will cut them down. Allah is sufficient as a protector, Allah is sufficient as a helper, Allah is sufficient for us, and what an excellent trustee He is. There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. “Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds!” (al-Ṣāffāt, 79) (Three times: Answer us, accept our supplications!) “So the root of the people who did wrong was cut off. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.” (al-Anʿām, 45) “…So nothing could be seen except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.” (al-Aḥqāf, 25) May Allah send complete blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, his family, and his Companions (ṣaḥāba)! WHAT DOES HIZB MEAN?
In the dictionary, “section, part, group; weapon” are among the meanings of hizb (plural: aḥzāb). It is the general name for supplications (duʿā) arranged for the realization of certain material and spiritual aims, recited by Sufis (those of Sufism/taṣawwuf) and people of the tariqa (Sufi order), and sometimes by devout individuals who are not members of a tariqa.
