Dua Mentioned in Hadith for Seeking Forgiveness of Sins
Our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us a powerful supplication for the forgiveness of our sins, which is as follows:
Meaning: “O Allah! Wash away my sins with snow and cold water, purify my heart just as You cleanse white garments from dirt, and distance me from my sins as far as the East is from the West.” (Bukhari, Du’a 38, 43-45; Muslim, Dua 49; Tirmidhi, Du’a 77)
