Surah Al-Fatihah (Verses 1-5)

Recitation: “Bismillahirrahmânirrahîm. Elhamdü lillâhi rabbil’alemin. Errahmânir’rahim. Mâliki yevmiddin. İyyâke na’budü ve iyyâke neste’în. İhdinessırâtel müstakîm. Sırâtellezine en’amte aleyhim ğayrilmağdûbi aleyhim ve leddâllîn.”

Meaning: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. It is You we worship and in You we seek help. Guide us to the straight path, the way of those you have favored, not of those against whom You are angry, nor of those who are astray.

Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 67

Recitation: “…Eûzu billâhi en ekûne minel câhilîn.”

Meaning: “…I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant.”

Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 127

Recitation: “Rabbenâ tekabbel minnâ inneke entessemiy’ul’aliym.”

Meaning: “…Our Lord, accept from us, indeed, You are the Hearing and the Knowing.”

Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 128

“Rabbenâ vec’alnâ müslimeyni leke ve min zürriyetinâ ümmeten müslimeten leke ve erinâ menâsikenâ ve tüb’aleynâ inneke entettevvâbürrahıym.”

Meaning: “Our Lord, make us both submitting to You and [make] from our offspring a community free of disbelief, and show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Acquiring Mercy and the Most Merciful.”

Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 201

Recitation: “…Rabbenâ âtina fiyddünyâ haseneten ve fiyl’âhireti haseneten ve kınâ azâbennâr.”

Meaning: “…Our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of Hellfire.”

Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 250

Recitation: “…Rabbenâ efrig aleynâ sabren ve sebbit ekdâmenâ vensurnâ alel kavmil kâfirîn.”

Meaning: “…Our Lord, pour upon us patience and make firm our feet and give us strength against the disbelieving people.”

Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 286

Recitation: “…Rabbenâ lâ tü’âhıznâ in nesiynâ ev ahta’nâ, Rabbenâ ve lâ tahmil ‘aleynâ ısran kemâ hameltehu ‘alelleziyne min kablinâ, Rabbenâ ve lâ tühammilnâ mâ lâ tâkate lenâ bihî, va’fü ‘annâ vagfir lenâ, verhamnâ ente mevlânâ fansurnâ ‘alel kavmil kâfiriyn.”

Meaning: “…Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or err. Our Lord, and do not impose upon us a burden like that which You imposed on those who came before us. Our Lord, and do not load us with [a responsibility] beyond our capacity. And forgive us and have mercy upon us, for you are the best of those who give.”

Surah Al-Imran: Verse 8

Recitation: “Rabbenâ lâ tüzığ kulûbenâ ba’de iz hedeytenâ veheb lenâ min ledünke rahmeten, inneke entel vehhâb.”

Meaning: “Our Lord, do not deviate the hearts after You have guided us, and grant us mercy. Indeed, You are the Best of those who give.”

Surah Al-A’raf: Verse 47

Recitation: “…Rabbenâ lâ tec’alnâ ma’al kavmiz zâlimîn.”

Meaning: “…Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.”

Surah Al-A’raf: Verse 126

Recitation: “…Rabbi efriğ ‘aleynâ sabren ve teveffenâ müslimiyn.”

Meaning: “…My Lord, pour upon us patience and take our souls while we are Muslim.”

Surah Al-A’raf: Verse 155
