What does “Rabbena la tuziğ kulubena” mean?
Dua (Supplication) is a servant’s acknowledgement of their powerlessness before the majesty and sublimity of Allah, seeking His grace and assistance with feelings of love and reverence. The word ‘duā’ carries meanings such as ‘to call out,’ ‘to ask for help,’ and ‘to desire,’ and it is often used to describe the request or plea that moves from the lesser to the greater, from below to above. Making dua is praised and encouraged in verses and hadith. “Fear Allah and implore Him.” (Al-A’raf 7:56) “There is nothing more honorable before Allah than supplication.” (Tirmidhi, Duawāt, 1; Ibn Majah, Dua, 1)

Recitation: “Rabbenâ lâ tüzığ kulûbenâ ba’de iz hedeytenâ veheb lenâ min ledünke rahmeten, inneke entel vehhâb.”
Meaning: “Our Lord! Do not let the hearts deviate after You have guided us. Bestow upon us Your mercy, for You are indeed the Most Merciful.”
