Meaning and Recitation of the Supplication “…Rabbinsurnî Bimâ Kezzebûni.”
The meaning of this supplication is for the servant to acknowledge their helplessness before Allah’s majesty, while expressing feelings of love and reverence, and seeking His grace and assistance. The word “du’a” (supplication) encompasses meanings such as “to call out, to invoke, to desire, and to seek help”; it generally expresses requests made from the lesser to the greater, from the lower to the higher. Making du’a is praised and encouraged in verses of the Quran. For example: “Fear Him and to Him supplicate.” (Al-A’raf, 7/56) and “There is nothing more honorable before Allah than supplication.” (Tirmidhi, Duawāt, 1; Ibn Majah, Dua, 1)

Meaning: “O my Lord! Assist me against that which they falsely accuse me of!”
