Advice from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Upon Request of a Companion
Mu’adh bin Jabal -may Allah be pleased with him- narrates:
The Importance of Remembering Allah: A Hadith
I said to the Messenger of Allah –peace and blessings of Allah be upon him–:
“O Messenger of Allah, give me some advice.”
The Prophet –peace and blessings of Allah be upon him– said:
“Be mindful of Allah to the extent you can.
Remember Allah beside every stone and every tree.
Seek repentance in secret for your hidden sins, and openly for your manifest ones!” (Heysemi, X, 74)
