The meaning of Salât-i Ummiyya is as follows: “O Allah, send blessings (du’a of mercy) upon our Master, the Prophet Muhammad, who was unlettered, and upon his family and companions, and grant him peace.” These supplications are expressions of respect and gratitude to Our Prophet (peace be upon him).
