What is the Salaten Tüncina Prayer? How to Read It?
Salaten Tüncina is a special supplication sent to our Prophet (peace be upon him). This valuable prayer is known both in its Arabic text and in its Turkish recitation.
This blessed salutation has great importance and virtue. It is hoped that the person who regularly recites the Salaten Tüncina prayer will be protected from calamities, create a shield against future troubles, have their wishes easily fulfilled, and have their sustenance blessed.
Salaten Tüncina Prayer – Original Arabic Text
اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَي آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلاَةً تُنْجِناَ بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ الاَهوالِ وَ اْلآفاَتِ وَ تَقْضِي لَناَ بِهَا جَمِيعَ الْحَاجَاتِ وَ تُطَهِّرُنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ السَّيِّآتِ وَتَرْفَعُنَا بِهَا عِنْدَكَ اَعْلَي الدَّرَجَاتِ وَ تُبَلِّغُنَا بِهَا اَقْصَي الْغَيَاتِ مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْخَيْرَاتِ فِي الْحَيَاتِوَ بَعْدَ الْمَمَاتِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ. حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ * غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
Salaten Tüncina Prayer – Turkish Recitation
“Allâhumme salli alâ Seyyidinâ Muhammedin ve alâ âli Seyyidina Muhammedin salâten tüncînâ bihâ min-cemî’il-ehvâli vel âfat. Ve takdî lenâ bihâ cemîal hâcât ve tutahhirunâ bihâ min-cemîi’s-seyyiât ve terfe’unâ bihâ ındeke a’lâ’d-deracât ve tubelliğunâ bihâ aksâ’l-ğayât min cemiîl-hayrâti fî’l-hayâti ve ba’del-memât birahmetike Yâ erhame’r-rahimîn. Hasbunellahu ve ni’mel vekîl, ni’mel mevlâ ve ni’me’n-nasîr. Ğufraneke rabbenâ ve ileyke’l-masîr.”
Salaten Tüncina Prayer – Meaning
The meaning of this prayer is as follows: “O Allah! Send blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his household. May this supplication be so valuable that, in its merit, You save us from all fears and calamities. You fulfill all our needs through this supplication, cleanse us from all sins, raise our ranks to the highest levels, bring us to every kind of goodness to be attained in life and after death, grant us these with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy. Allah is sufficient, what a wonderful patron! What a beautiful master, what a beautiful helper.”
In some narrations, it is stated that the part “Hasbunellahu ve ni’mel vekîl…” is not included. However, even if this part is recited, there is no objection to it.
