What Does “Teveffeni Müslimen ve Elhıkni Bissalihin” Mean? Yusuf (Joseph) Surah 101st Verse

Du’a (Supplication) is a servant’s acknowledgement of their powerlessness before the majesty of Allah, seeking His grace and assistance with feelings of love and reverence. The word ‘du’a’ encompasses meanings such as “to call, to invoke, to desire, and to seek help”; it is generally considered a request and entreaty made from the lower to the higher. Making du’a has been praised and encouraged in verses and hadith. The importance of supplicating to Allah is emphasized in these verses: “Fear Him and hope for His mercy.” (Al-A’raf, 7/56) and “There is nothing more honorable with Allah than supplication.” (Tirmidhi, Duawāt, 1; Ibn Majah, Dua, 1)
