The Virtue of Acting Upon the First Ten Verses of Surah Mu’minun

There is a great virtue in acting upon the first ten verses of Surah Mu’minun. A hadith related to this matter states:

“…WHOEVER ACTS UPON ITS REQUIREMENTS WILL ENTER PARADISE”

According to a narration from Hz. Omar (ra), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during an extraordinary time of revelation, turned towards the Qibla and raised his hands in supplication:

“O Allah! Increase Your blessings upon us, do not diminish; honor us, do not humiliate; bestow upon us, do not deprive; make us distinguished (over our enemies) and do not render us weak; be pleased with us and let us be pleased with You!”

After these supplications, he said:

“Ten verses have just been revealed to me; whoever acts upon the requirements of these verses will enter Paradise,” then he recited the first ten verses of Surah Mu’minun. (Musnad I, 34)
