Those Whose Supplications Are Accepted: The Hidden Times and Places of Supplication
The believer should know that when he observes the proper method and etiquette in his dua (supplication), his supplication will be accepted, and he should witness its benefit in both this world and the Hereafter.
THE IMPORTANCE OF SUPPLICATION IN THE SIGHT OF ALLAH
The Exalted Allah has given glad tidings in the verses that the supplication of the one who prays will be accepted: "And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided." (al-Baqara, 2/186). Furthermore, in the verse, "Or, Who answers the distressed one when he calls upon Him and removes the evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember."
