— We have never seen such strange people, no matter how much we tried, we could not deceive them, but we gave up because we were tired, they said. Satan:
— You cannot deceive them at all. Because they have met the Prophets and were witnesses to the revelation of the Quran. However, you can influence future generations, he said.
In the time of the Tabi‘un, he again scattered their followers with the same intention; they returned, bowing their heads, and said:
— We have never seen such people. Occasionally, we could deceive them, but in the evening, they repented and Allah forgave all their sins (translated), they said. Iblis:
— There is no benefit for us from them. Because these are people who truly possess the sincere monotheism that follows the Sunnah of the Prophets. However, the generation that will come after them will be the ones who will make you happy. They will be like toys in your hands. You will guide them with the excesses of their desires. They will not repent, and even if they do (because they do not comply with the conditions and do not perform sincere repentance), their repentances will not be accepted, and their sins will remain as sins.
Indeed, after the time of the Tabi‘un, some people came who were consumed by their desires, presented their innovations as good, made them permissible, and accepted them as a religion. They did not ask Allah for forgiveness, nor did they repent to Allah. Allah the Almighty sent their enemies upon them, and their enemies turned them toward whatever they desired.
If you say: «What did the Satan who told this story see, and how did he speak with Satan? How did he know this story in that region?»
— Know that those who possess spiritual insight can discover hidden secrets that are not seen. This discovery sometimes occurs through inspiration, which is one of the branches of revelation, sometimes through dreams (with a truthful vision), and sometimes through direct vision, as if seen with the naked eye. A human being ascends to a higher realm in meaning, sees the truth of things, and understands their meanings. A true dream is like one of the forty-six parts of the revelation, and this is also among the highest levels of prophecy.

Just as this is one of the forty-six parts of revelation, this is also among the highest levels of prophecy.
By no means, do not start to deny this knowledge because you think you cannot understand it. This is the point of destruction for those scholars who ascend above the intellectual sciences, thinking they have grasped them. It is far better to be ignorant than to deny the states of the friends of Allah. (Because the ignorant, not knowing what they do not understand, refer the matter to Allah.) Since the source is one, denying the saints and their miracles is equivalent to denying the Prophets and their miracles. Denying the Prophets is to completely abandon the religion. Some scholars say:
«In the last times, the good people hide themselves, and the scholars of the time cannot bear to see them. Because this group, known as scholars in the eyes of the ignorant and who also recognize themselves as scholars, are considered ignorant in their eyes. The greatest sin is not knowing one’s ignorance, looking at the faults of others, listening to the words of the ignorant, and listening to the scholars who are immersed in the world. It is not correct to listen to scholars who are immersed in the world. Perhaps everything they say should be rejected. Because everyone dives into what they love and rejects what they do not love. (This is what this scholar will also say about the things he loves.)» they say. Indeed, Allah the Almighty says:
