The most important thing is to advance resolutely on the path of faith and obedience.
Ascension Through Knowledge: The Rabbit Story
The rabbit story in the Masnavi emphasizes the importance of wisdom and skillful, yet correct strategies. The rabbit uses its intelligence to overcome the lion, demonstrating the value of intellect and skill when dealing with worldly challenges. Mevlânâ considers knowledge as a precious treasure like Solomon’s ring. Knowledge helps one transcend oneself, reach a higher understanding, and overcome obstacles in their environment. This story also reminds us that even things that appear small can have great consequences; the important thing is to find the right strategy.
