Hadith
According to the narration of Abu Umama Sudayy ibn Aclan al-Bahili, may Allah be pleased with him, he said, ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in his Farewell Sermon saying: “Fear Allah. Perform your five daily prayers. Fast during Ramadan. Pay the Zakat on your wealth. Obey your rulers! (And thus) you will enter the paradise of your Lord.”

Narrator
Abu Umama Sudayy ibn Aclan is a companion known by his kunya (nickname). He settled first in Egypt and then in Homs. He narrated 150 hadiths from the Prophet. His hadiths are included in the Six Major Collections of Hadith. People of Syria reported from him. He passed away in Homs in the year 81 (or 86) Hijri. Some consider him to be the last companion to pass away in the Sham region. May Allah be pleased with him.
What We Learn
