From Existence to Being: The Mysteries of the Inner Transition

A truth reflected from the prolific works of Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi is that humanity is in a constant state of inner transformation. This transformation is not merely a spatial relocation, but also a rebirth experienced in the depths of existence. A pious person rises from their challenging circumstances as if with a light, reaching a refreshing realm; this is akin to a journey from being back to being. The key during this process is that the starting point is not non-existence, but an existing being, and the experiences that follow this existence leave one in constant search; for the world is within endless change and transformation, and this cycle serves as a means for humanity to understand a universal truth.

The Origin of Dissatisfaction and the Desire for Transition: A Perpetual Search

Humanity is inherently built upon dissatisfaction; this forms the foundation of an individual’s discomfort with their current state. Yearning for the past, criticizing the present moment, and a constant search for ‘something better’ are an unavoidable part of human existence. This state of dissatisfaction is not merely a personal preference, but also a divine manifestation; just as Allah’s apparent harms are filled with wisdom, so too does dissatisfaction contribute to one’s transcendence and reaching a higher level of consciousness. However, the peak of this search lies in being at peace with one’s current situation while simultaneously possessing the desire to move forward; this balance is the key to inner wholeness and attaining truth.

Knowing Providence (Rizk) and the Importance of Piety (Takva): The Keys to Spiritual Wealth

True providence is not limited solely to meeting material needs, but also expresses a spiritual nourishment process. Knowing where providence comes from increases one’s gratitude and makes them humble. Piety is the most important tool for reaching this level of awareness; for the pious person is delivered from difficulties through Allah’s grace and progresses towards expansiveness. This expansiveness is not merely material abundance, but also includes inner peace, spiritual refreshment, and the depth of the heart. A pious person acts with self-awareness, which allows them to approach life in a more meaningful and conscious way, thus achieving success in the world of trials.
