Hadith
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) purchased a camel from him. He ordered that the weight of the camel’s money be measured and an amount added to it.

What We Learn
  1. 1It is permissible for a seller to sell his animal with the condition that he can ride it for a while longer.
  2. 2Agency is permissible in matters of debt repayment and fulfilling rights.
  3. 3It is recommended to give more than the agreed amount when paying off a debt.
  4. 4It is permissible to offer a sales proposal to someone who does not offer their goods for sale.
  5. 5Giving back an item after its price has been paid is a good deed and virtue.
