Hadith
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings upon him, would say when he set out on a campaign: “Allahumma anta adudi wa nasiri, bike ehulu wa bike asulu wa bike ukâtilü: O Allah! You are my supporter and helper. I move with Your support; I attack the enemy with Your help; I fight against the enemy with the strength and power that you give.”
Abu Dawud, Jihad 90; Tirmidhi, Da’awat 121.

Narrator
Will be explained along with the next hadith.
What We Learn
  1. 1The Prophet, peace and blessings upon him, performed various supplications at different times and places, according to the conditions of that day.
  2. 2Supplication does not prevent a person from taking measures as much as he can and making the necessary preparations.
  3. 3Supplication should be made with complete trust and unwavering faith in Allah.
  4. 4It is more virtuous to supplicate in times of difficulty, hardship, distress, and adversity.
  5. 5It is natural for prophets to feel fear and anxiety as human beings.
