Hadith
Abu Huraira narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissed Hasan, the son of Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both). Then Aqra’ ibn Habis said: ‘I have ten sons, but I have never kissed any of them.’ The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “He who is not merciful will receive no mercy.”

What We Learn
- 1It is recommended to kiss young children out of love, affection, and compassion.
- 2Those who are merciful to people and living beings in this world will receive mercy from Allah on the Day of Judgment.
- 3Those who are hard-hearted are deprived of Allah’s mercy.
