Hadith
Berâ ibn Azib, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: An individual was reciting Surah Cave. He had a horse tied to him with two long ropes. A cloud covered this man and began to approach him. The horse also started to become frightened by the cloud. When morning came, the man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and told him about this situation. In response, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “That is tranquility; it descended because of what you recited.”
Bukhari, Fazail al-Qur’an 11; Muslim, Musafirun 240.
