Hadith
It is narrated from Abu Huraira may Allah be pleased with him that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “When a person is asked about something they know and they do not answer, a fiery bit will be placed in their mouth on the Day of Resurrection.”

What We Learn
- 1It is not permissible for someone who possesses knowledge to hide it.
- 2It is obligatory for religious scholars to disseminate knowledge and teach it to others.
- 3Withholding necessary religious information from others is considered a major sin, so its punishment in the hereafter is severe.
