Beyond the Delights of Paradise: The Pleasure of Allah

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Sa’id al-Hudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Allah the Exalted says to the inhabitants of Paradise: – O residents of Paradise! They say: – Command us, our Lord. All good and blessing is in Your Hand. Allah the Exalted says: – Are you content? They say: – How can we not be pleased, our Lord? You have bestowed upon us blessings that You have not given to anyone else. Allah the Exalted says: – Shall I grant you something more precious than this? The inhabitants of Paradise say: – What could be more precious than this, our Lord? Thereupon the Most High says: – I bestow My pleasure upon you; after this, I will never be angry with you.”
