Hadith
Abu Huraira narrated: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once sent us on a campaign. He mentioned two men from the Quraish and said, ‘If you capture these two, burn them!’ Then, as we were about to set out, he said, ‘I have previously ordered you to burn those two when you seize them. But punishment by fire is only for Allah’s torment. So, when you seize these two, do not burn them; kill them!’
