Hadith
Safiyyah Binti Huyey, the mother of the believers, said: Resûl-i Ekrem sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem was in seclusion ( itikaf ). One night, she visited him and they spoke. Then, when she got up to return home, he also rose to escort her home. At that time, two men from the Ansar – may Allah be pleased with them – encountered them. Seeing the Prophet sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem with his wife, they quickly moved away. Resûl-i Ekrem sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem said: “Slow down a bit. This is Safiyyah Binti Huyey, who is with me.” When they replied, “We seek refuge in Allah from any inappropriate behavior, O Messenger of Allah!” he said: “Satan flows through the body as blood does, and I feared that he would throw a malice – or a doubt – into your hearts.”
