Hadith
It is narrated from Mirdas al-Aslami, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The righteous servants of Allah pass away one after another to the Hereafter; leaving behind unworthy people like the chaff and husk of barley and dates. And Allah The Most High does not give them any importance.”

Narrator
Mirdas al-Aslami Mirdas Ibn Malik al-Aslami is one of the fortunate companions who were present at Bay’aturridwan, but there is no information about his life. He has no other narrations in Sahih Bukhari and Kutub al-Sittah. Only Kays Ibn Abi Hazim, a Tabi’un, narrated hadith from Mirdas. May Allah be pleased with him.
What We Learn
- 1We should try to be with good people, especially scholars, and live with them.
- 2We must avoid disagreeing with good people. Because disagreeing with them means placing ourselves among those who are not valued by Allah.
- 3As the Day of Judgment approaches, there will be no scholar or righteous servant left on earth, and the world will fall into the hands of evildoers and ignoramuses, and the resurrection will come upon them.
