In Pursuit of Spiritual Traces

The phrase ‘without me, without you’ in the source text and the metaphor of the branch falling into a river express the transience of individual existence and ultimate submission to God. Images such as the cup falling without drinking wine, and the Prophet purifying the wine from the goblet, emphasize that truth is revealed directly to the heart and is not mediated by intermediaries. This state of intoxication invalidates reason and logic, opening the heart to see the light of divine love; thus, the presence of God is perceived in every corner of the universe.
