The first article states that the locus of the illuminations of gnosis ( *irfan*) is within the depths of the human heart, as clearly explained by verses of the Noble Qur'an.
O esteemed one! Know that the friends of God have said: The Exalted One has not cast His servants away from Himself due to the mercy He possesses. With the magnificence of His mercy, He has withheld neither His grace, knowledge, and love, nor the bliss of nearness and communion from them. Thus, it is proclaimed and announced that the human heart and soul are made a station of *irfan*, that this Pure Essence is close to hearts and watches over them, and that souls find Him through His guidance alone, without impediment. Indeed, in His Noble Book, He has commanded with generosity and favor:
“Remember when your Lord said to the angels: ‘I am going to place a vicegerent on earth.’” (Al-Baqarah, 2/30) “It is He who made you vicegerents upon the earth.” (Al-An’am, 6/165) “And if you ask them, they will answer: ‘Indeed, I am near; whenever any one of you supplicates Me, I hear his supplication and accept it.’ So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be guided.” (Al-Baqarah, 2/186) “Know that Allah enters between a person and their heart, and you will surely be gathered before Him.” (Al-Anfal, 8/24) “Indeed, He is Aware of the essence of hearts.” (Al-Anfal, 8/43) “For your Lord is near, accepting [supplications].” (Hud, 11/61) “And remember when your Lord said to the angels: ‘I am going to create a man from clay.’” (Al-Hijr, 15/28-29) “We indeed created man in Our image and bestowed upon him grace. We certainly favored some of His creations over others with clear proofs.” (Al-Isra’, 17/70) “And they ask you about the soul. Say: ‘The soul is from the knowledge of my Lord, but you have been given only a little of knowledge.’” (Al-Isra’, 17/85) “Allah created you from dust then from sperm, then He made you pairs [male and female]. Nothing does occur of creation or gestation without His knowledge.” (Fâtir, 35/11) "You were certainly not preceded by any community before you who had been given ears and eyes and hearts, but you did not give thanks." (An-Nahl, 16/78) “Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and on earth [as a favor] and that Allah has bestowed upon you of His bounties, evident and unseen?” (Luqman, 31/20) "Indeed, they are my enemies, but the Lord of the worlds is my friend." (Ash-Shu'ara, 26/77) “He is the one who created me and guided me, He provides me sustenance and drink. If I am ill, He cures me, and He will cause my death and then resurrect me.” (Ash-Shu’ara, 26/78-81)
“It is He who has perfected everything and has provided for each thing with measure; then He will produce the living from the dead, and the dead from the living, and you have been concealed what He knows.” (Al-Mulk, 32/7-9) “Indeed, it is Allah who created you and [all] that you do.” (As-Saffat, 37/96) "You did not throw when you threw, but Allah threw." (Al-Anfal, 8/17) “Indeed, We know what their souls whisper, and We have come closer to them than their jugular vein.” (Qaf, 50/16) “Did We not create you?” (Al-Waqi’ah, 56/59) “(The heart) does not lie about what it sees.” (An-Najm, 53/11) “Wherever you are, He is with you. Allah sees all that you do.” (Al-Hadeed, 57/4) "(O Prophet,) say: ‘It is He who created you and gave you hearing, sight, and hearts. Will you not give thanks?’” (Al-Mulk, 67/23)

1-Seek then that Friend of yours, O esteemed one! Abandon all but Him.
2-Seek then that One whose essence has adorned the entire universe.
3-Seek then that One who is your Lord; He is the light of earth and sky.
4-Seek then that One! This cosmos, this clamor, this ecstasy are from Him.
5-Seek then that One from whom all plants have drawn their growth and vitality.
6-Seek then that One who grants souls, understanding, and feeling to humankind.
7-Seek the True One who is eternal; All things are created and perishable.
