Meymuna bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) would pray, and I would stand in his vicinity during my menstrual period. Often, when he prostrated, his garment would touch me, and he prayed on a mat woven from palm fiber.
