The Prayer Section · 63 – Being an Imam for a Reluctant Congregation
Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said: “There are three categories of people whose prayers are not accepted.” Among them is the person who leads a congregation while they dislike him, the man who comes to prayer after its time has passed, and the man who enslaves a freedman.” [387]
