The recognition of the self is the key to knowing God (marifetullah),
that the light of marifa descends into the heart of the knower,
that marifetullah is the highest station sought from God,
that the knower forgets all but God (ma’siwa) and finds marifa,
and transcends himself, remaining in union with it,
thereby becoming secure from every fear and sorrow,
and discovers God Most High as a Creator free from negative attributes
and endowed with positive ones—this is conveyed through nine points.
