O beloved! Know that the friends of God have said: The Exalted God has guaranteed you sustenance necessary for your existence and is truly capable of giving whatever He wills, as He knows all your needs and sees every state of yours. When you know this with certainty, you will attain tranquility and your heart will be at peace by trusting in the truthfulness of God’s promise and His guarantee of provision. You will turn away from and find ease by avoiding unnecessary worry and considering the details of causes, thinking them separate from the Creator. For you know that it is God Who feeds you the food you eat and gives you the water you drink. Then you experience that He imparts taste and pleasure to them, digests them easily, grants you health, bestows strength and their benefits upon your limbs, protects your body from their weight and harm, and brings you to tranquility—all through Him.
For God may suffice you without food or drink by His grace, or grant healing and benefit even without it. He may bestow pleasure and strength so that your body finds vigor and power. For all things come about through the will of God. Therefore, trust in no one but God and place all reliance upon Him alone.
Similarly, if you entrust all your affairs to God, who draws everything on earth and in the heavens, your heart will be purified from the sorrow of matters that your vision falls short of and your intellect cannot comprehend, and you will find inner peace. You will be freed from calculations of possibilities and doubts such as “Perhaps this will happen tomorrow, or not; if it does, how will it be?” (“Le‘alle” and "Lev"). You know that busying your heart with considering the outcome of all these matters is a needless exertion of the self and a waste of time. For often things occur that you did not anticipate, and God’s decree of fate and destiny changes your previous precautions and considerations. Thus, your precious life is wasted in vain dreams.

God's decree is certain; it has been written beforehand.
Empty your heart from "if only" and "perhaps."
And say to your soul: “O my soul! What befalls us is what God has decreed. He is our Lord, sufficient for us. How excellent a Trustee is He who bestows favor upon us!” For He is the possessor of power whose limit cannot be reached; the possessor of wisdom whose measure cannot be taken; the possessor of mercy whose end and boundary are not known. Therefore, to trust and rely on this pure Being endowed with these attributes is the most beautiful and beneficial thing. It is absolutely necessary and the most important matter to surrender all affairs to Him, abandoning concern for measures and provisions.
Thus, when a calamity befalls you and an evil comes your way, if you can control your soul and restrain your heart, you will be freed from weeping and wailing and escape doubt and complaint. Especially, it is very difficult to prevent the soul from weeping and wailing at the first moment of the affliction.
In this situation, say to your soul: “This calamity surely comes as an arrow from God. There is no remedy for it through measures or stratagems. So endure it and be content with it, for God has many calamities in His hidden treasures. You know that He removes and averts even greater calamities than this. This tribulation is like a dark cloud; soon these clouds will dissipate, the sun will appear, and you will attain your desire. Endure it and be content with it so that you may attain salvation and great reward.”
As God has said in the Holy Qur’an: “God will surely give after difficulty ease” (Talak, 65/7), and has announced a great recompense for beautiful patience. Be patient and endure so that you may witness wonders and extraordinary things from your Lord's unique artistry.

1- Wait for the manifestation of your Lord; He will surely bring
What is missed, refreshment will come soon.
2- Do not despair when what you seek is lost;
For many wondrous things are born in the hidden treasures.
If you can place allowance for fate in your heart and see its sweetness and bitterness as equal, then you know that whatever God decrees for you in matters whose nature and secrets you do not fully comprehend is most suitable and best for you. You will find much pleasure and delight in everything that comes from God, and say to your soul: “O my soul, what has been decreed from eternity will surely manifest at its appointed time.”
O you who are displeased with fate, what benefit do you find in this behavior? Why don’t you be content with fate when you declare yourself content with God as Lord? Do you not know that appreciating fate is part of God's majesty? Therefore, abandon the habit of discontent and do not attain to God’s pleasure and love unless you are pleased with His decree. If God does not grant you worldly possessions for a time, say to your soul: “O my soul, God knows your every state better than you know it yourself, bestows more favor upon you than anyone else, and is the most merciful of all. He is the Lord of lords and the Provider of sustenance for all creation. How can one be nurtured with miserliness in the presence of the Generous One who hates ingratitude?”
The One who creates with mercy is He,
The Sustainer of abundance is He,
The Wise Executor is He.
Let us see what the Lord does,

Entrust yourself to God in reliance,
Delegate and find peace,
Be patient and content,
Let us see what the Lord does,

Empty your heart towards Him,
Abandon deliberation,
Comprehend His decree,

It is the Creator of mercy,
The Sustainer of generosity,

Make supplication to Him,

Do not insist on a matter,
If it occurs, do not be stubborn,

Every adversity is a blessing in disguise,
Do not grieve or worry,
For His wisdom manifests itself,

Every action is perfect,

10 – Do not deem justice as oppression. Surrender yourself; do not burn in the fire of affliction. Be patient; do not weary of patience. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
11 – Do not say "Why is this so?" It is so because it must be so. Look to the end, and be patient. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
12 – Do not look down upon anyone. Do not wound, do not break hearts. Do not side with your ego. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
13 – A believer does not feign hypocrisy. He reflects and is not quarrelsome. The heart of a gnostic is not constricted. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
14 – Patience is sweet; it is beautiful. Divine decree is my guarantor. Allah is my trustee. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
15 – His Name is remembered in every tongue, in every heart. And His aid reaches every soul. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.

24 – Do not linger in the past. Nor become absorbed in the future. Be content with the present moment. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
25 – Remember Him every moment. Abandon vanity; be awestruck by the Real. Say: Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
26 – Come, lose yourself in a path of wonder. Forget yourself, and find Him. Dispel heedlessness, be present. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
27 – Every word contains counsel. Every object holds beauty. Every deed offers gain. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
28 – These are all symbols, signs. All are letters of the Divine. They are all gifts from the Most High. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
29 – Listen to everyone who speaks. Understand him who makes them speak. Accept with a pleasing soul. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
30 – O Haqiqi! Know the words of the people as the pen of the Real. Learn manners and ethics. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.
31 – Indeed, He has done beautifully. By Allah, He has done beautifully. Truly, He has done beautifully. Let us see what our Sustainer wills. Whatever He wills, is beautiful.

12 -“He who splits the darkness and brings forth the dawn”; like Israfil, He brings them all from that realm to this world of form.
3 – Inspirations come to the heart from God. Accept this, and greet everyone pleasantly.
“He has been pleased by God.” (Surah al-Bayyina, 98/8) is stated. However, displeasure with divine decree entails distress, sorrow, and gloom. This situation yields no benefit but carries a heavy burden and punishment. For the decree is an operative force that cannot be rejected or turned back with discontent and grief. A sensible person does not exchange the contentment of heart through God’s acceptance for it with sins and unnecessary grief and anxieties. Secondly, to express displeasure with divine destiny is a great danger. May God Almighty grant aid to His servants who contemplate the meaning of this noble verse: “Nay! By your Lord! They will not believe until you judge between them, and they will not be satisfied by your judgment unless those upon whom the knowledge has been bestowed are content.” (An-Nisa, 4/65)

For God Almighty has removed faith from those who are displeased with His Messenger’s judgment and feel a constriction in their souls because of it. Then how can He judge those who are not pleased with their own judgments? God says: “He who is displeased with the decree, does not endure hardships with patience, and does not give thanks for the blessings I have bestowed upon him, let him seek another Lord besides Me.” Thus, this is a severe warning and terrifying admonition for those heedless of God Almighty.
And in the sacred hadith it is said: “O Adam’s son! Whoever is displeased with My decree, does not act patiently against the hardships I send him, let him seek another Lord besides Me.” "O Adam's son! Be pleased with what comes from Me so that I may be pleased with you and sustain you with My love." "You desire, and I desire. But ultimately, what I will is what occurs. When you are content with My will, I shall give you what you desire.” “There is no healing except in acceptance of the decree.” “I am pleased with your prayers which you perform daily; be you pleased with My provision which I grant you each day. Just as I do not ask for tomorrow’s prayer, do not ask Me for tomorrow's sustenance." "O Adam’s son! Those servants of Mine who draw near to Me through the spiritual (mukarrebûn) have not approached Me closer than by accepting the decree.” “Servant! You cannot approach Me with anything more beloved than acceptance of the decree.”

And Our Noble Prophet (peace and blessings upon him) made this supplication: "O God! I seek acceptance of the decree." And he said: “God shows mercy to whoever knows himself, controls his tongue, and is pleased with God’s decree.” And he said: “God has servants on earth whose hearts are brighter than the sun, whose actions resemble those of the prophets. They have little and much in this world. They have accepted whatever He has decreed for them and found His pleasure.” And he said: "God has placed contentment in ease and joy, and displeasure with the decree in hardship and sorrow." And he said: “Whoever is pleased with God’s meager provision, God will be pleased with his few deeds.” And he said: “Whoever is pleased with God, let him know that God is pleased with him.”
