SECTION ON PURITY · 95 – THE SITUATION OF SOMEONE WHOSE CLOTHING IS WET
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) related:
It was asked of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him), "If a man finds wetness on his garment, not remembering whether he has been to the bathhouse?"
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) replied, “He should perform *ghusl*.”
Then it was asked, "If a man is a bathhouse worker and does not find wetness on his garment?"
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said, “There is no *ghusl* for him.”
Ummu Suleym asked, “If a woman sees wetness, should she perform *ghusl*?”
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) replied, "Yes, women are part of men."
