The Section on Purity · 115 – Those Who Say They Wash Once a Day
Ali, may Allah be pleased with her, said: “A woman who sees the blood of excuse should wash every day after her menstrual days have ended. (To stop the bleeding) she uses wool or cloth oiled with plain oil or olive oil upon it.”
COMMENTARY
It is recommended to use wool or cloth oiled with oil or olive oil because it prevents the flow of blood better and is soft so as not to damage the limb.
