Abdullah, his father Abu Katada (may Allah be pleased with him) relates:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) said: “When I stand for prayer, I desire to prolong it, but then I hear the voice of a young boy, and because I dislike causing distress to his mother, I perform [the prayer] lightly [and quickly].” [489]
