FASTING CHAPTER · 30 – THE FASTING PERSON WHO EXPERIENCES SEMINAL EMISSION DURING THE DAY IN RAMADAN
From Zayd ibn Aslam, from a man among the companions, who said that a man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The vomiter, the wet-dreamer, and one who draws blood does not invalidate his fast.”
EXPLANATION:
If a believing person who is fasting sleeps during Ramadan and experiences seminal emission in a dream, his fast is not invalidated. He rises, performs ritual purification (ghusl), and the fast remains a fast.
