Marriage Section · 25 – A father marrying his daughter without her consent
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him:
A virgin girl came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said that her father had betrothed her to someone against her will. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave her the choice regarding accepting or refusing the marriage. [113]
