Haris ibn Kays reported:

Musa ad-Ddaffah, Ibn al-Umayr, and Wahb al-Asadi said that when he embraced Islam, a man had eight wives. He mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Choose four and leave the rest."

It was narrated with a meaning similar to the hadith transmitted through Kays ibn Haris.

Dahhak ibn Fayruz reported from his father, saying: He said: When I embraced Islam, I said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, “O Messenger of Allah! I have become Muslim, but my marriage is to two sisters.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded me, "Divorce whichever you wish."
