SECTION ON ZAKAT · 31 – The Inheritance of Property by a Deceased Person
Burayda (radiyallahu anhu) reported:
A woman came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, “O Messenger of Allah! I had given my slave-girl in charity to my mother.” She said, "Now my mother has died, and she left the slave-girl as inheritance." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “You have earned a reward for charity. And the slave-girl will come to you in the inheritance.”
