JIHAD SECTION · 78 – INDIVIDUAL'S PASSWORD USAGE
Semure ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The password of the Muhajirun was Abdullah, and the password of the Ansar was Abdurrahman.
Iyas ibn Salama relates from his father that we went out on campaign with Abu Bakr during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and our war cry was "Emit, Emit" (Kill, kill).
Abu Sufra reported that someone informed me from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "If you are raided by the enemy at night, let your password be 'Hâ Mîm; they will not be helped.'"
