JIHAD SECTION · 21 – ACTIONS EQUIVALENT TO JIHAD
Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani narrated:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever equips a person for jihad in the way of Allah, then he has performed jihad. And whoever looks after the family of the one who went out to jihad, then he has performed jihad."
Abū Sa’īd al-Hudrī (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon him) wished to send a company to fight against the people of Lihyān, and he said, “Let every two men go out for war.” Then, regarding those who remained seated, he said, "There is half of the reward of the one who went out for war for that person."
