Divorce Section · 5 – The person who divorces his wife and wants to return to her without witnesses.
From Mutarrif ibn Abdullah: A question was posed to Imran ibn Husayn concerning a man who divorces his wife and then seeks intimacy with her if he does not appoint witnesses to his divorce and reconciliation. He responded, “You divorced without following the sunna, and you reconciled without following the sunna. Appoint witnesses for your divorce and your reconciliation, and do not repeat such a divorce and reconciliation without witnesses.”
