Volume 3 – 62 – Delivering a Sermon on the Minbar in Arafat
From a man of Banu Damra, who related from his father or uncle:
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the pulpit at Arafat.
EXPLANATION
There is an unknown person among the narrators of this hadith. Who is the man from Banu Damra? It is not known.
From a man of the Hay tribe, who narrated from his father, Nubayt:
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing the standing (waqf) at Arafat on a red camel and delivering a sermon.
It is narrated from Khalid bin ‘Add bin Hawza that he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, standing on his camel with his stirrups raised, addressing the people at Arafat.
